Reminders, Updates & Information

Staffing Update
Miss Jennings’ period of leave is expected to conclude next week, and we are hopeful she will be able to return to Owl Class after half term. We will confirm this with Owl Class parents as soon as her return date is finalised.
Miss Jennings' return means we will sadly be saying goodbye to Miss Whitehouse, who has been teaching Owl Class during this time. She has worked incredibly hard to provide consistency and care for the children, and we are so grateful for all her efforts. She will be greatly missed, and we wish her all the very best at her next school.

Year 6 SATs
A huge well done to all our Year 6 pupils who have shown real resilience and focus during their SATs this week. All the staff involved have been incredibly impressed with their attitude and effort throughout.
We expect to receive the results on Tuesday 8th July, and we will share these with families shortly afterwards.

School Office
Mrs Baker will remain off next week. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we manage without her.

Class Photos – Wednesday
Tempest Photography will be in school on Wednesday next week to take class photos.
Please ensure your child is wearing the correct school uniform on the day.

Hot Weather Reminder
With the weather warming up, please ensure that:

  • Children arrive at school with sun cream already applied
  • They bring a sun hat
  • They have a named water bottle, filled and ready for the day
Your help with this is much appreciated in keeping everyone safe and comfortable in the heat.

Achievements
Congratulations to Nancy, James, Ethan, Sophia and Mark, who have all received achievement certificates this week. They have truly demonstrated our Brilliant Boxgrove Behaviours and lived out our school’s learning values.

In this week’s Achievers’ Assembly, we also celebrated our Year 3 and 4 tennis team who represented Boxgrove at Bishop Luffa last week. Mr Rodgers and Mrs Ford were hugely impressed by the eight children who took part. We’re delighted to share that Boxgrove finished 2nd overall in the competition – well done to all involved!

Wishing all our families a restful weekend filled with peace and blessings.
